Hull Inspections Since 2005 IE have been carrying out ROV based hull inspections. Our small manportable systems can be placed anywhere on the vessel, whilst our inhouse "ROV Lifter" means we can operate independent of vessel cranes for minimal operational impact. Services include:-

FPSO based Riser Inspections Maximum efficiency and minimum impact on ongoing production. Our equipment enables productive but safe operations, with capabilities that were previously unattainable. Inspections have included STL’s, SALM’s, RTM’s with all associated hardware from surface to seabed. Lightweight portable equipment allows rapid mobilisation when required.
FPSO Tank Inspections We have conducted over 9 tank inspection campaigns, covering both ballast and cargo tanks. By filling the tanks with clean seawater, and inspecting with ROV's, operators can reduce the requirement for manned entry into these hazardous spaces. Services include:-

Full Field Inspections With active stabilisation, our V8 Sii ROV's provide a productive, yet intimate and comprehensive inspection. The addition of our "Percussive CP Probe" allows fast, accurate contact CP measurements through coatings and hard marine growth. Providing Survey and Inspection Services as required, we can safely complete your inspection to a high standard with a surprisingly low footprint.
Shallow Water Inspections Recently completing over 20km of pipeline inspection in under 3 days from an 8m boat, we have a proven ability to carry out this work. With a 300m excursion, and an ability to work in water from 0.3m deep, nearshore approaches and harbour seactions are easily surveyed.
Rapid Response Inspections At under 300kgs for the lightweight spread, and easily fitting on a standard chopper, our V8 ROV's can be on your site within a day. We have mobilised a system from Perth and been inspecting a wellhead in the Timor Sea within 24hrs. Support vessels have ranged from DP vessels right down to a 6m RIB.
Deep Penetration Inspections In standard configuration, we can easily survey 300m into your pipe or tunnel. With additional equipment we can extend that to 2000m.
Underwater Cleaning Using our ROV's with HP waterblasters and our own cleaning heads we have successfully cleared seachests and other subsea assets of heavy marine growth. We can presently achieve a rate of about 1sqm/minute, and are continually improving our equipment to do better.
