Our main resource is our team of staff and associates. With a focus on attitude and operational competency, supported by a strong technical team onshore, we consistently exceed clients' expectations.

ROVs

Intervention Engineering support our operations with a range of inspection ROVs.
These range from the ubiquitous Seaeye Falcon through the versatile V8 Sii ROV and onto the small but advanced LBV. Whatever your requirements, IE can match them.
V8 Sii
The backbone of IE's offshore operations; the Swedish built V8 Sii ROV is the natural successor to the legendary Sea Owl.
Eight vectored thrusters give it the ability to work at depth, in current, whilst the sophisticated control system allows it to operate in any attitude.
The active control system gives stability and ease of control reminiscent of workclass ROVs.
This means not only can we reach places other ROVs can't, but our vehicles also provide a superb platform for video, sonar or any other sensors mounted on the vehicle.
Cameras, lights and sensors move in unison to give superb inspection.
Theseus ROVs
Based on the industry standard LBV, our Theseus ROVs have been optimised for ballast tank inspection.
With high resolution cameras, fibre optic video, laser scaling devices and ultrasonic thickness gauges these small ROVs are excellent tools to minimise personnel entry into confined spaces.
Surprisingly powerful in open water, these ROVs have also been successfully operated inspecting assets deep below the ocean surface.

Equipment

Intervention Engineering has developed a range of equipment to enhance our capabilities.

15Megapixel Stills Camera
Optimized in-house for inspection ROV use, and fully controlled from the surface by RS485, our stills cameras provide crisp clear images for those tricky inspection jobs.
Percussive CP Probes
Until now small ROVs have alway had difficulty penetrating both the tough coatings and hard marine growth prevalent in our region. The "Percussive CP Probe" has overcome this, actively penetrating the toughest coatings so we can now take fast, accurate CP readings far quicker than even a workclass ROV.
Positioning Solutions
Using our in-house or third party positioning systems we can quickly locate your assets on the seabed and aid in navigation. Whether we are working at a 250m offset in 2m of water, or 300m below, we have the positioning solution.
Pharos Aqualights
These submersible HID lamps are ideal for wide area llumination, giving a flat white light optimised for video inspection. With a subsea light output equivalent to a 4000W Halogen they are the ideal tool for wide area illumination.
Tooling
We can develop a range of small vehicle tooling for your particular requirement.

Systems

IE has implemented the safety and operational systems that allow us to successfully undertake your works with the minimum risk.
